The Nationwide Children’s Library under the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation is opening a vacancy for a Music Teacher. We are looking for a teacher who confidently works with children within an academic framework while remaining open to a broader, more exploratory engagement with music. We value someone who can combine strong technical foundations with practices that develop musical sensitivity and expression. Job description

Responsibilities


— Deliver regular lessons in piano and solfeggio;

— Select repertoire according to students’ age, level and artistic development;

— Introduce creative and experimental learning formats;

— Prepare students for performances and seasonal concerts.


We are looking for


— At least one year of teaching experience;

— Strong knowledge of methods for developing technique, ear training, rhythm, intonation and musical thinking;

— Proficiency in Uzbek and 


Russian;

— A genuine commitment to nurturing each student’s individual musical voice.


Conditions

— Part-time position;

— On-site work at the library in Tashkent (weekly lessons);

— Occasional travel may be required;

— Schedule and further details to be discussed at interview.
