The Nationwide Children’s Library under the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation is opening a vacancy for a Producer of Public Programs. We are looking for a person who will join the team to create and develop educational and outreach events, festivals, and celebrations. A producer in the library searches for reeds, casts fabrics for sails, creates prototypes of Christmas tree ornaments, and even writes letters to authors. They keep the organisational process in focus and, together with the team, bring projects from idea to result. This is a person who thinks not only about schedules and agreements, but also about the values and meanings behind them.
Responsibilities
— Organise festivals, special projects, and educational programs;
— Lead projects from idea to outcome: concept development, planning, timeline and budget control;
— Communicate with experts, team members, and contractors;
— Ensure the integrity of projects — from concept to realisation.
We expect from the candidate:
— Interest in contemporary formats of audience engagement;
— Experience in culture, arts, education, or event programming;
— Ability to hold both process and values in focus;
— Orderliness, attention to detail, and responsibility.
Conditions
— Full-time employment;
— Work in the office (business trips within the country possible);
— Participation in shaping the city’s cultural life;
— Terms to be discussed at the interview.
